Life is too short, enjoy every moment

Life is too short, enjoy every moment

Hi, and welcome.
My name is Kourosh Parsi, although most people call me KP.
I've been making movies for almost 30 years. I started when I was around 15 years old, simply because I fell in love with storytelling. Back then, I never imagined that filmmaking would become such a big part of my life. I just knew that I loved cameras, creating images, and the feeling of bringing an idea to life.
Over the years, I've had the chance to work with many different kinds of cameras and productions, from 8mm and Super 16mm film to 35mm cinema and today's digital technology. I've worked on feature films, documentaries, music videos, short films, commercials, and many other creative projects.
But if you ask me what I enjoy most, it's the people.
I love sitting down with directors, producers, writers, and artists, listening to their ideas and understanding what they are trying to say through their work. Every project is different, and every story matters. I believe filmmaking is not just about equipment or technical knowledge—it's about trust, collaboration, and sharing a vision.
After all these years, I've been lucky to meet so many talented people. Because of that, I can often help connect projects with actors, models, crew members, editors, colorists, and other creative professionals who can help make something special.
Whether you're making your first short film, producing an independent feature, creating a documentary close to your heart, or simply trying to figure out where to begin, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
I don't claim to know everything, but I love what I do, and I genuinely enjoy helping people tell their stories.
So take a look around, explore some of my work, and if you think we'd be a good fit, don't hesitate to reach out and say hello.
Maybe we'll create something beautiful together.

"Cold Highway" is a film by Kourosh Parsi that tells a mysterious and suspenseful story.
The film follows a man driving alone on an intercity road. After several hours, he notices a young woman standing by the roadside, waiting for someone to help her reach her destination. The man picks her up and drives her to where she wants to go. But just minutes after dropping her off, he sees the same woman again—standing in the exact same spot, waiting once more for a ride.
It is at this moment that the man realizes a disturbing truth: he is trapped in a time loop—a cycle that keeps repeating itself, always resetting everything back to the beginning. The woman remembers nothing and believes she is meeting the man for the first time, while he knows this has happened many times before and struggles to understand what’s happening.
At first, he thinks it’s a joke or a hallucination, but as the loop repeats again and again, he begins to believe that time itself has paused—and keeps rewinding to the same moment.
As the story of Cold Road unfolds and other characters gradually enter the narrative, the film becomes deeper and more layered, painting a haunting world full of mystery, anxiety, and unanswered questions.
